Shannon Balmer is the Director of Operations, overseeing the day-to-day functions of the Denver office and supporting the team in delivering a consistent and thoughtful client experience.
Shannon was part of Brown & Company—a Denver-based wealth management firm serving clients across the country—before joining Modern Wealth Management in April 2026. She joined the team in 2022, bringing more than 20 years of experience in financial services. Prior to that, she spent five years as a philanthropic advisor at Colorado College, working with family foundations and high-net-worth donors.
Shannon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colorado College. She lives in Castle Pines with her husband and three children and enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with family.
