Ron Gambassi

Ron joined the team when Gem State Investment Advisors became Modern Wealth Management in May 2026. Throughout his wealth management career, Ron has loved helping his clients make informed decisions about how to manage their money, guiding them toward their goals and giving them peace of mind.

Ron’s belief in adhering to the fiduciary standard led Ron to founding GSIA in 2010. Joining the Modern Wealth team provided Ron and his team an opportunity to offer a broader range of services to clients.

Ron utilizes the analytical approach that he developed in his previous career as an engineer and combined it with his passion for understanding the behavioral factors involved with people and their money while serving his clients. Prior to founding GSIA, Ron previously worked in management and executive management at a Fortune 500 company.

Outside of work, Ron has enjoyed serving on several financial and investment committees for non-profit organizations. His interest in investing and the markets dates back to when he bought his first stock (Navistar, formerly International Harvester) at 18 years old. Ron went on to earn his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from New York University. He also has a certificate in financial planning from Texas A&M University.

Ron and his wife, Sara, have three children and honor the memory of their fourth. Ron enjoys golf, landscaping, learning Italian, and time in his workshop. Their golden retriever, Ethel, serves as the family comedienne.
