Rachel prepares meeting materials and manages to-do list items for Modern Wealth’s retirement plan committee. She assists our retirement plan advisors in managing existing business relationships and complete Salesforce tasks and maintenance. Additionally, Rachel maintains documents in client fiduciary files and navigates through various recordkeeping websites to access reports and download documents.
After beginning her career in property management, Rachel decided to make a career change to the 401(k) industry in 2021. She started her time at Paychex in the new case implementation space, assisting clients who had never held a 401(k) with getting their plan up and running. Rachel then moved to the conversions side of the team, helping clients transfer from their prior recordkeeper over to Paychex. She then became a team lead for Paychex’s client service center, helping develop individuals, lead projects through partnerships with other departments and act as a subject matter expert for 401(k) knowledge.
Modern Wealth Management seemed like a new opportunity where Rachel could not only use my prior knowledge but also help provide new insights to create new procedures that will be impactful. She also loved the possibility of the growth in knowledge and experience through the different roles just within Modern Wealth’s Rochester office alone.
Rachel is married with two beautiful, busy body children. They love to make their house their dream home through new visions and inspirations. Her family loves to spend time together, whether it’s goofing around in the backyard, picking out new plants, or watching a movie or TV show on the couch. They are big fans of Harry Potter, Marvel, Gilmore Girls, and Friends. Rachel loves reading and collecting books that appeal to her, planning theme-based events, and redesigning and remodeling spaces for herself and others.
