Morrie W. Reiff is an Executive Advisor of Modern Wealth’s Calabasas, California office. He was the founder and president of Planned Asset Management, which became Modern Wealth in April 2025. With over 50 years of experience in the financial services industry, Morrie specializes in investment management and estate tax reduction.
Morrie has been active in the Los Angeles financial community since 1976. Morrie has served on the Board of Directors and is a past president of both the San Fernando Valley Society of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners and the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning.
Morrie is an experienced public speaker. He has presented financial topics to several associations and conducted monthly educational seminars for CPAs. He previously served as an adjunct professor at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for their Business and Industry Educational series.
He previously hosted his own talk radio show, produced his own financial cable television show, and has been a frequent guest on local radio stations. Morrie has also contributed to and been quoted in several publications, including the Los Angeles Times and Los Angeles Business Journal.
Morrie is actively involved in his community. He previously served as a board member of the Watts Foundation Community Trust and chaired the Planned Giving Committee for the Pacific Lodge Youth Services. He was honored as Volunteer of the Year by Pacific Lodge Youth Services (1995) and has worked with several charities over the years with various fundraising campaigns. While financial advising is clearly a passion, Morrie also enjoys spending time with his family and reading a hard copy book. An avid traveler, he has visited more than 45 countries.
