Jacob joined the Modern Wealth team in August 2026, bringing 19 years of experience in public accounting. He works with clients to meet their tax filings and tax planning goals for the future.
Jacob married his wonderful wife in 2019 on Hilton Head Island. They have two adorable daughters, Claire and Camille. The Ottmans make one trip out to the East coast each year to see Jacob’s wife’s side of the family. Jacob grew up in Nebraska and has family within a few hours that they drive to visit on the holidays. Some of Jacob’s favorite hobbies include golfing, riding motorcycles, and watching college football.
