As a fintech startup founder in the tax planning space at our Philadelphia office, Adam brings a distinct expertise in tax minimization strategies. Adam enjoys crafting innovative tax solutions and developing an actionable blueprint to help clients reach their personal wealth objectives.

Adam arrived at Modern Wealth in May 2024 following a merger with Wealth Management Solutions. The merger with Modern Wealth excited Adam about being able to offer a comprehensive suite of services to meet the needs of every client.

In his free time, Adam enjoys traveling across the globe, frequenting the local gym, and dreaming up crazy business ideas.

Danielle always strives to provide excellent customer service, attention to detail- processing paperwork, and a very high sense of urgency in accomplishing any task out of our Philadelphia office. She joined our team in May 2024 when Wealth Management Solutions merged with Modern Wealth.

Prior to entering the wealth management industry, Danielle worked in the hotel and restaurant management field. Danielle worked at Ritz Carlton locations in Philadelphia and Naples, Florida, and for the West Paces Hotel Group at the Auburn University Hotel in Alabama as a restaurant manager.

Danielle and her husband, Sean, have two children, Evan and Alexis, and two dogs, Louis and Miles. Family, health, and friends are the three most important things in Danielle’s life. She also loves traveling, running, and going to concerts, Eagles football games, and new restaurants. Danielle is a proud supporter of North Star- Chester County, which is a non-profit organization that seeks to help single working parents toward stability and financial independence.

Tanu is invested in cultivating a diverse team from wide backgrounds from our Philadelphia office. He was the founder of Wealth Management Solutions, which merged with Modern Wealth in May 2024. As a CFP® Professional and Chartered Financial Consultant, Tanu has been committed to creating a tailored financial plan for families through his career.

After beginning his career in wealth management in 2001 as a fund analyst, Tanu worked as a contractor in broadband engineering for nearly a decade. That entrepreneurial background gives him unique insight in helping families and businesses navigate the complexities of critical and personal financial decisions.

Tanu has lived in the greater Philadelphia area more than 25 years. As a native of Finland, Tanu is fluent in three languages. He enjoys traveling, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife, Debbie, and their three young children. Family and faith come first for Tanu. He’s devoted to supporting his local church and various mission organizations.

Martin comes to Modern Wealth following our firm’s acquisition of Wealth Management Solutions in May 2024, where he served as the CEO. His extensive background in the wealth management field also included a 20-year run as the president of Hopkins Investment Management (originally M.L. Hopkins & Co., LLC), which merged with Wealth Management Solutions in 2021.

There were several reasons why Martin was intrigued by the idea of joining the Modern Wealth team. He was eager to be part of a larger team that can assist with all the back-office stuff related to running a business, the extra time he has to assist his clients, and the extra services he can deliver to them.

As a CFP® Professional and attorney out of our Annapolis, Maryland office, Martin has always made it a point to provide unbiased professional guidance when it comes to making important decisions that impact their future. He has been a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) since 2003 and has served on the board of the Northeast Division.

Martin immigrated to the United States in 1996 from South Africa, where he was a senior partner in a law firm. He and his wife, Lyn, have two adult sons and three grandchildren. Martin and Lyn live in Annapolis, where he cultivated his love for boating. He enjoys exploring the inland waters of the East Coast, hiking, and new motor cars. Martin is an active leader in Church of the Nations International.
