Department: Company Retirement Plan Team
Experience: Wealth management since 2004 (specifically in the 401(k) field since 2014)
Education: Bachelor of Science in business administration from Nazareth University
Since joining the Modern Wealth team in October 2025, Tyler has advised plan sponsors (business owners) on the intricacies of 401(k) plan design. He has assisted with plan implementation and administration and has helped their employees with retirement solutions. Tyler’s primary goal is to help plan sponsors with creating and designing 401(k) plans that both the business owners and their employees can take advantage of upon reaching retirement.
Prior to arriving at Modern Wealth, Tyler served in a client relationship manager position at Paychex on their large market 401(k) service team. Tyler moved from Paychex to Human Interest and served as a Relationship Manager, working exclusively with Financial Advisors on their placed 401(k) plans.
Tyler also previously worked as a middle office analyst for Wachovia Capital Markets on their mortgage-backed security desk and municipal bond desk. He transitioned to an account manager position with fixed income trading responsibilities at Manning & Napier before making a career change to the 401(k) sector.
Tyler is happily married with two children, Maxwell and Mackenzie. He enjoys watching Maxwell play hockey and attending Mackenzie’s horse riding and equestrian competitions. Tyler’s family enjoys going to Bristol Mountain in the winter and downhill skiing. In the summer, you can find them swimming and sunbathing in one of the nearby Finger Lakes. Tyler also loves to fly-float fish in the local tributaries of Lake Ontario for salmon, steelhead, and brown trout. A fun fact about Tyler is that he played in the 2004 Division III lacrosse national championship game.
