Preston joined the Modern Wealth team in January 2026 as a lead advisor based in our Boise, Idaho office. He meets with new and existing clients to build and regularly review their financial plans. Preston assists in portfolio management and investment strategy and coordinates with other financial professionals for clients’ tax and estate planning needs.
Modern Wealth’s team approach, career opportunities, and growth-focused goals appealed to Preston upon joining the firm. Preston’s career in wealth management began as a portfolio administrator and lead planner at an RIA in Las Vegas. During the three and a half years Preston spent with his previous firm, his team catered to high-net-worth families.
Preston was born and raised in Meridian, Idaho. He and his wife, Sami, have a son, Luke, and Australian shepherd, Onyx. Preston and Sami love to be active with playing sports and doing things outside. Preston’s favorite sports and activities include football, rugby, basketball, competitive powerlifting, and whitewater rafting. A few other fun facts about Preston are that he’s a former Nevada state record holder for bench press, he’s served a two-year church mission in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and he’s fluent in Spanish.
