Molly Karcher

Education: Master of Arts in education

Molly joined the team when Gem State Investment Advisors became Modern Wealth Management in May 2026. As an operations associate in our Boise, Idaho office, Molly assists Managing Director Ron Gambassi with several behind-the-scenes items to support the client experience.

Molly and Ron operated as a two-person team with GSIA. She joined GSIA as an operations associate in 2024, managing the firm’s daily operations and assisting with the client onboarding process. Joining Modern Wealth excited Molly, especially with gaining access to a larger team of professionals and more tools to support clients.

Molly is also a co-owner of the gift shop Idaho Made, located in downtown Boise. That has allowed her to stay connected to the art world and help support dozens of local artists and makers. She was previously a special education and art teacher prior to working in the finance industry.

Molly was born and raised in Idaho. She has three kids, Ellie, Henry, and Beatrice, who love to play all the sports and do all the things. As a family, they enjoy riding bikes on the Boise River Greenbelt or staying in for a movie night. Providing a good life for her kids, physically and mentally, as a single mom is Molly’s top priority.

Molly would love to live in the Sawtooth Mountains someday. She enjoys hiking whenever she gets the chance and doesn’t mind if it’s five miles or 20. As a former river guide, she loves being on or near the river. Molly frequently leans on her experience as a river guide and teacher in her current role. Her previous positions required a lot of patience, planning, and listening/people skills. Those skills have helped her connect with clients and be someone who truly cares and supports them.
