Madison Hauenstein
Director of Client Relationships
Department: Client Service
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University
Madison joined the team in May 2026 when Flaharty Asset Management became Modern Wealth Management. Since moving to the finance space in 2022, Madison has had the unique opportunity to focus on delivering a thoughtful experience for clients with each interaction. Her role stretches beyond external marketing, and she looks forward to trying to elevate the brand of Modern Wealth Management in our Tampa Bay office.
Prior to joining Modern Wealth, Madison served as executive director at The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation for 10 years. Her time in the non-profit sector was very fulfilling and purposeful, giving Madison a great perspective of the needs of the community and how every person can make a difference. The team she worked on grew an endowment that can sustain the immediate needs of the organization and the people it serves with intellectual and developmental disabilities in perpetuity, while bringing in benefactors to support the needs of tomorrow.
Philanthropy has been important to Madison from a very young age, as her parents set a great example of giving back for her and her siblings. Madison has served as a member of The Omelette Party Committee, the longest running black-tie fundraiser in Tampa Bay, since 2014. The Omelette Party Committee has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to support The Arc Tampa Bay Foundation and the people it serves with special needs, while spreading awareness of this inspiring population.
Madison married her college sweetheart in 2013, and they welcomed their son, Holt, in 2016. They have a rescue dog named Penny and love being around their friends and nearby family. They travel as much as possible and love everything from a Disney Cruise to a New York City adventure or Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland (if you’ve never heard of it, look it up immediately!).
One of Madison’s other favorite hobbies is needlepointing. In addition to “cheeky” pillows and canvases that have been turned into Christmas ornaments for our family tree, she has stitched a needlepoint belt for her husband every year since they’ve been married and hope they will be passed down to their son one day when he’s old enough. They serve as a great reminder to big life events or memories we’ve had together.
