Kerri Kibler

Kerri joined the team in May 2026 when Flaharty Asset Management became Modern Wealth Management. She supports the Punta Gorda office advisory team with client service, including opening and maintaining accounts, and coordinating transactions to help facilitate an efficient client experience. Kerri also assists with day-to-day operations so advisors can remain focused on delivering personalized financial guidance. 

Kerri started her career in the financial services field as a client associate with Merrill Lynch in 1994. She has also worked for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley Wealth Management), Wells Fargo Advisors, Trilith Wealth Management, and Flaharty Asset Management. 

Kerri is originally from New York, but has called Florida home since 1991. She has three amazing sons who are all grown and doing very well in their careers. Two of them are college soccer coaches and one is a fireman. They make Kerri proud every single day and are absolutely the light of her life. 

Along with her family, Kerri is thankful for her two dogs and her good friends that bring her happiness, support, and comfort every day. Her family is there for her through good and difficult times, her friends make life more enjoyable and meaningful, and her dogs bring unconditional love, joy, and companionship. Spending time with them is what matters most to Kerri, and they are a big part of what makes her life fulfilling. Kerri also enjoys baking, reading, hiking, and fishing.
