Ken provides competent and caring financial guidance and investment management services to his clients. He provides strategic oversight of Modern Wealth’s El Segundo, California office. Ken joined the team when Kaye Capital Management became Modern Wealth in June 2025.
As a Los Angeles native, Ken has spent his entire career in Southern California. He began his career in 2004 at Kaye Capital Management and served in several roles for the firm, including Investment Advisor, Vice President, Chief Investment Officer, President, and CEO. He’s also a member of the Financial Planning Association of Los Angeles.
One of the things that excited Ken about joining the Modern Wealth team was the opportunity for clients to have more access to him. His focus shifted from being split between advising clients and running KCM to now just largely advising clients.
Ken has served as adjunct professor in California Lutheran’s MBA program, teaching “Macroeconomics for Investments” to CFP® and MBA Candidates. A fun fact about Ken is that he was informed that he was the youngest person to pass the CFP® exam from UCLA’s Personal Financial Planning Certificate Program when he earned his CFP® credential in 2006.
Ken lives in Palos Verdes, California, with his four sons, Jackson, Tucker, Bodhi, and Maverick. He enjoys coaching as many of their sports teams as he can. Some of Ken’s other shared hobbies with his sons include fly fishing and other outdoor activities. Ken also helps other youth through his support of Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services.
