Kam joined the team in May 2026 as the director of compliance when Flaharty Asset Management became Modern Wealth Management. She arrived at Modern Wealth with 30 years of industry experience. Kam has worked in many different spaces in wealth management, from Main Street to independent.
Prior to coming aboard at Modern Wealth, Kam’s career included stops at Edward Jones, Bank of America Private Wealth, Wells Fargo Financial Network, Wells Fargo Advisors, Morgan Stanley Virtual Advisors, and Flaharty Asset Management/LPL Financial. Kam is thankful for everything that she has learned along the way, as each experience with each firm provided her with some unique perspective.
Kam is originally from Florissant, Missouri which is right outside of St. Louis Missouri. She relocated to one of her favorite vacation spots, Florida, in 2024. Family is the most important thing to Kam. Her son is a Navy pilot and her daughter has published a couple of Manga style comic books.
Along with spending time with family, Kam loves going to the beach, reading a really good book, listening to live music, binge watching a good show, and watching football (especially the Pittsburgh Steelers). Kam is also a proud supporter of the American Cancer Society.
