Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance with minors in personal financial planning and leadership, and a certificate in investment management from Kansas State University 

As a growth associate, Cole performs outreach to prospective clients to discuss firm value offering and schedules meetings with advisors. Cole joined the Modern Wealth team in August 2025 and is based in the firm’s Organic Growth Hub in Lenexa, Kansas. 

Prior to coming aboard at Modern Wealth, Cole worked as an associate advisor and financial planner at J BLACK FINANCIAL GROUP. That role provided him experience with building financial plans and meeting with clients.  

Cole grew up in Salina, Kansas, with his parents and two sisters. Salina is also where he met his wife. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their Golden Retriever, Birdie, and traveling. Cole also likes snowboarding, golfing, fishing, watching sports, and going to K-State games.
