Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance with minors in personal financial planning and leadership, and a certificate in investment management from Kansas State University 

Cole was promoted to be a relationship manager in April 2026 after initially joining the team as a growth associate in August 2025. As a relationship manager, Cole supports our advisors by meeting with clients and assisting them with financial planning items.   

Prior to coming aboard at Modern Wealth, Cole worked as an associate advisor and financial planner at J BLACK FINANCIAL GROUP. That role provided him experience with building financial plans and meeting with clients.  

Cole grew up in Salina, Kansas, with his parents and two sisters. Salina is also where he met his wife. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their Golden Retriever, Birdie, and traveling. Cole also likes snowboarding, golfing, fishing, watching sports, and going to K-State games.
