Born in The Bronx, New York in 1961 to Greek immigrant parents, Peter has had a lifelong love affair with space exploration and technology.
He is the founder of the X-Prize Foundation, Co-Founder of the Zero Gravity Corporation, Co-Founder of Singularity University, Co-Founder of Planetary Resources, and Co-Founder of Human Longevity Inc.
He is also the author of the book Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think!
The book talks about the acceleration of technological gains, and the potential for exponential technology growth which could significantly raise standards of living across the globe in less than a quarter century. It is a fascinating read, and many of the things he talks about in the book, and in the speeches he gave after its release in 2012, are already happening.
